How to create a Cisco IOU template

This guide uses the Cisco IOU L3 as an example to show how to create an IOU template.

1. In the new template wizard, click the "Next" button.

   

2. Type "iou" in the search box to search quickly. Then click the button marked "2" in the image.

   

3. Use x86_64_crb_linux-adventerprisek9-ms.iol as an example. Follow the order shown in the image. Select and upload your local image file.

   

4. After the upload finishes, the status of x86_64_crb_linux-adventerprisek9-ms.iol changes from Missing to Ready. Click the "Create" button as shown in the image.

   

5. Enter a template name. The default name is Cisco IOU L3. Click the "Add Template" button to finish.
